HOW DO WE GET TO KNOW YOU AND OUR INTERESTED ACTORS  ?

                       Step 1:  

We meet with our actors and families via zoom to gain information related to what motivates interested students along with understanding their speech and language skills, social skills, school and home environment, and any additional information. We often engage in fun activities to see what might motivate our interested actors.

                    Step 2: 

 

After our initial meeting we discuss with you what class /program might be best for our interested actors and families. We often attempt to place students in groups based on age and levels of language and communication skills. 

​

If interested students present with severe problem behaviors (verbal outbursts, aggression towards self or others, running etc.) We may recommend that the student wait or trial a small group to determine if  the program can support his or her needs.

                         Step 3:

Once an assessment is completed andour clinicians have discussed the type of class/group that would be best for our incoming actor or actors, the next steps are to learn, create, communicate and master their craft!
